Social Worker
Location: Howrah, West Bengal, India
Employment Type: Full-time
Key Responsibilities
• Work directly with children and youth in need of care and protection
• Plan and implement educational, recreational, and developmental activities
• Provide emotional and social support to beneficiaries
• Maintain records, case files, and progress reports
• Coordinate with schools, families, and other stakeholders
• Organize outreach programs, awareness campaigns, and community activities
• Assist in rehabilitation and reintegration processes
• Ensure a safe, nurturing, and disciplined environment
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, or a related field
• Prior experience in NGOs or child welfare (preferred but not mandatory)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work with children from diverse and challenging backgrounds
• Basic computer knowledge

Working Conditions
