A Week of Celebration – Ashalayam’s 40th Anniversary

Ashalayam’s Ruby Jubilee was a vibrant six-day celebration filled with joy, emotion, and reunion. ASA France members and long-time friends joined us to mark 40 years of dedicated service to children in need. The festivities included Holy Mass, sports, dance, music, theatre, hostel and street-school participation, and inspiring alumni testimonies. Visitors explored our centers, joined a retreat to Kalyani, visited Mother Teresa’s tomb, and shared meaningful moments with the children. As one child said, “Yesterday was my best day ever.”
